Key Responsibilities:
Management of all SEO campaigns (with a primary focus on On Page Optimization management and handling); Approval of all SEO related website modifications; Management of the On Page Web Development Team and On Page SEO Junior Analyst; Communicating campaign status to the CEO, COO, and clients; Research into areas of opportunity and improvement; Resolution of any problems involving SEO campaigns; Defining, developing, documenting, and implementing natural search and other traffic-building strategies; Direct involvement in the conceptualization, formulation, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of client’s website. Note, this does not include or define all tasks which the post holder may be expected to carry out. Duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility. The post holder may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by their CEO and COO.
Scope of role:
To work closely with COO regarding overall operations and search strategy along with the Heads of Research and Development to ensure that all operations and client accounts managed by the staff have a robust technical strategy in place, together with specific performance targets and objectives tailored to meet or exceed the business and commercial expectations of the client. To also work closely with the COO and Management Staff as required when devising and managing advanced strategies in line with the company services.
Main Responsibilities and Job Tasks:
§ Responsible for managing and handling all reseller Search Engine Optimization campaigns with a primary focus on On Page Optimization. Works with various departments dealing with website enhancements/modification to ensure that our work meets the resellers’ SEO requirements. The On Page Web Development Team and the On Page SEO Junior Analyst report directly to the SEO Director to assist in the implementation of plans and maintenance of the resellers and company’s websites. She is also the Senior Supervisor for the Day Shift and co-supervises the Off Page and Content Department.
§ In charge of On Page Optimization management and handling which consists of the following:
§ Aside from direct involvement in SEO for reseller campaigns, they are also responsible for communicating the campaign/project/website status to the CEO, COO, and the clients/resellers. This includes ensuring that the appropriate project deliverables are created and approved as needed. The On Page SEO Director also conducts research and analysis to identify areas of opportunities and improvement, and resolve problematic areas in websites/campaigns whenever necessary.
§ The On Page SEO Director is also involved in defining natural search and other traffic-building strategies and implementation. This includes developing, documenting, and updating formal processes to promote best practices for natural search. In addition, they are also involved in the conceptualization, formulation, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the client’s website.
§ To work closely with the account management team to ensure that each client’s account manager is kept up-to-speed with progress and results so that all clients receive top quality, professional customer service from both you and from the client’s account manager.
§ To carry out monthly SEO maintenance for a number of assigned ongoing client accounts, ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of these campaigns.
§ To recommend on-site and technical changes and to carry out ‘hands-on’ changes where required.
§ To ensure your knowledge of the search engine marketing industry is kept up to date and relevant by networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources.
§ To actively and frequently propose new and improved search engine marketing campaign ideas.
§ To strive for excellence across your work
§ Build your expertise in all possible routes to your target market ( websites, mobile, social, video, blogs, retail portals etc)
§ To freely share knowledge, insight, best practice, tactics and ideas
§ Creating and executing creative marketing and link bait-style
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Advertising/Media, Linguistics/Languages, Mass Communications or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Makati.
• Preferably CEO/SVP/AVP/VP/Directors specializing in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent.
